How do we avoid distraction? Adventus - Coming Towards - What does Advent mean to you? - What does it mean for the church? We are living in fear of the future. People will die to try and find a safe place to live. The world is becoming more inhospitable as we create CO2. So where is the God of Love?
How do we respond? How do we avoid distraction or despair? Jesus knew we tended to do this and told us to "be careful". Distraction becomes a burden and we get lost. Social Media makes this even more possible to bury your head in the sand. But the bible says "Look for God", "Be on the watch" , "Take solace in me"
Jesus says "Lift up your heads because your redemption is drawing near"
