On the show tonight we’ll be pondering whether Chelsea and Sarri’s start to the season has been a case of ‘so far, so good’? Who has impressed and who hasn’t? What are the critical success factors to ensure a successful season? With Gary Cahill looking certain to leave in January will there be any other departures and arrivals and what would be the measure of success this season?

Neil’s book covers his reminiscences of 23 Chelsea away games from 1974 to 1995, taken from his personal diaries, the days when Chelsea were often, indeed, shocking. He tells us what it was actually like to travel to away games 30-40 years ago when heavy police escorts were the norm, and real ingenuity was needed to get a pre-match pint.
