Like a 20 stone bloke completing a marathon, Chelsea limped to the end of the season with a 1-1 draw against the Champions. And finally, it’s over, this annus horribilis of a season. Hopefully we can wake up in August and pretend that it never happened. I for one wish the applauding of Leicester players and their goal had never happened – another poor indictment of modern football and its fans. All of this and John Terry’s emotive on-pitch speech to the fans – was it farewell or will we see him leading us out next season?
