Two individuals, Jermaine Sammy Milligan and Deangelo Montez Simmons, face charges following a multi-week investigation by the Charleston Police Department. Authorities discovered a significant amount of cocaine, cocaine base, fentanyl, and a firearm during searches at residences on Congress Street and Simons Street. Milligan is charged with trafficking cocaine base and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, while Simmons faces more extensive charges, including trafficking cocaine, cocaine base, fentanyl, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Both men were taken to the Al Cannon Detention Center for booking.
