Fletch is joined by Gary to chat to Chris from the Gridiron Imports Foundation to talk about the amazing work they do supporting athletes across the world achieve their dreams of playing football in the States.In the late 2000s, Chris Adamson was HC at the Salisbury Boarding School, he provided the opportunity for a young, German lad, by the name of Bjoern Werner to come to the States and play football. Bjoern went on to become ACC Defensive Player of the Year, and an All-American at Florida State. Then, became the first (and only) German to be drafted in the 1st round.After Bjoern's NFL career was coming to an end, he linked up with his former HC Chris, to setup a company that would work to provide the same opportunities he was afforded to kids in Europe, and beyond.In the last 10 years, they have supported HUNDREDS of young men in gaining opportunities in the States, while supporting hundreds more in finding the right opportunity for them at home.The GIF are doing phenomenal work.
