Cats Got Your Tongue? is back with a special bumper festive episode! Host Adam Brown is joined by BAFTA award-winning comedian, actress and writer, Ronni Ancona to discuss her two beloved cats, Tommy and Tootsie. In what is now becoming an end of season tradition, Adam talks to practicing vet and TikTok sensation, Dr Ben Simpson-Vernon, to help tackle some of your cat questions and queries. In this episode, Adam talks to stand-up comedian, podcaster and broadcaster Elis James, about his two cats Freckle and Whiskers. Elis learns about the world of cat cakes, discusses midnight zoomies and reveals why they have unlocked a part of his personality he never knew he had. Plus, Nicky is back and the team discuss whether mice and birds are really gifts from our cats and answer an adorable question that wonders if cats can smile.

In this episode Adam is very pleased to welcome a legend to Cats Got Your Tongue?, the comedian, author and TV personality, Bob Mortimer! Bob chats about life with his cat Goodmonson, his pride at having such a handsome cat and the inspiration behind his famous surreal cat names. Plus, he reflects on the many cats he has had throughout his life. And joining the team for this very special episode is Alison Richards, Cats Protection head vet, to discuss Bob’s query about cats peeing indoors, a question about brushing your pet’s teeth and how cats keep us positive when things get tough.   

In this episode, Adam talks to best-selling author, Jane Fallon, about her cat, Pickle, who has now become a bit of a celebrity in her own right! Jane tells us how many days Pickle has gone without a ‘food-related theft incident’, why animal welfare is so important to her and who gets the most attention in her household. Dawn, who presents the National Cat Awards for Cats Protection, discusses why cats will always be by her side, the war against the ‘crazy cat lady’ stereotype and opens up about her experiences of grief for Lilu, her cat of 16 years. In this episode, Adam chats to restaurant critic, columnist and presenter, Giles Coren, about his “one and a half” cats, Iris and Mo. Giles breaks down the convoluted nickname(s) he has created for Iris, the story behind Mo making the decision to leave home and discusses the benefits of using your cat to get out of doing household chores. Plus, Nicky talks of the importance of protecting songbird populations when answering your Cats' Tales. 

In this entertaining new episode, Adam chats to interior designer and TV legend, Laurence Llewellyn Bowen, about his beloved cat, Higgins. Laurence discusses why he believes cats are worshipped, does a great feline impression and takes inspiration from the podcast to design a range of fabrics for cats. The team discuss if there is any truth in cats being drawn to pregnant women and Nicky is on hand to answer more of your Cats’ Tales, including a question about whether it’s safe to warm up cat food!

In this new episode, Adam chats to stand-up comedian, Jake Lambert. Jake, who is proudly the “best friend” of his cat, Richard Parker, discusses his cat’s incredible resilience after being shot by an air gun, the double life that Richard Parker leads and why Jake’s armchair is no longer his own.
