Cats Got Your Tongue?

Episode five sees Adam chat to writer, TV Presenter and confirmed Cat Lady Dawn O'Porter, about her two rescue cats, Myrtle and Boo. Dawn, who presents the National Cat Awards for Cats Protection, discusses why cats will always be by her side, the war against the ‘crazy cat lady’ stereotype and opens up about her experiences of grief for Lilu, her cat of 16 years. And Nicky is on hand to answer more of your Cats’ Tales, including a question asking if cats have belly buttons!   Cats Got Your Tongue? returns on 9th August with the rest of Season Two.  

In this episode, Adam chats to restaurant critic, columnist and presenter, Giles Coren, about his “one and a half” cats, Iris and Mo. Giles breaks down the convoluted nickname(s) he has created for Iris, the story behind Mo making the decision to leave home and discusses the benefits of using your cat to get out of doing household chores. Plus, Nicky talks of the importance of protecting songbird populations when answering your Cats' Tales. 

In this entertaining new episode, Adam chats to interior designer and TV legend, Laurence Llewellyn Bowen, about his beloved cat, Higgins. Laurence discusses why he believes cats are worshipped, does a great feline impression and takes inspiration from the podcast to design a range of fabrics for cats. The team discuss if there is any truth in cats being drawn to pregnant women and Nicky is on hand to answer more of your Cats’ Tales, including a question about whether it’s safe to warm up cat food!

In this new episode, Adam chats to stand-up comedian, Jake Lambert. Jake, who is proudly the “best friend” of his cat, Richard Parker, discusses his cat’s incredible resilience after being shot by an air gun, the double life that Richard Parker leads and why Jake’s armchair is no longer his own. Nicky is on hand to answer more of your Cats’ Tales, including a discussion on moulting cats. 

Cats Got Your Tongue? is back for a brand new season, and in this first episode Adam and Nicky are joined by author and content creator Louise Pentland. Louise, who has over 3.6m followers on Instagram, tells the team about how her brilliantly named cats, Milky, Rocket and Orbit, fit in with her busy family, Adam learns why he is becoming the perfect cat dad and the team answer more of your Cats’ Tales, including how to train a cat that doesn’t like treats!

In the final episode of this season, Adam and Nicky enlist some extra help from TV vet, Dr Bolu Eso. Dr Bolu, seen regularly on our screens on Love Your Weekend and Pooch Perfect, helps the team dig deep into lots of knotty listener questions about their cat companions.   Subjects under discussion include keeping your cat’s teeth clean, the things vets wish owners knew, and grief from the loss of your pet. Lauren, who was an Under 21 British National Champion and most recently seen on our screens dancing with Krishnan Guru-Murthy into the eighth round of the BBC show, lives with three cats Gypsy, Paco and Primrosey. She discusses how she juggles a busy life as a dancer with being a cat mum and the best ways to ’spoil’ a cat.
