The word 'skort' did not know what hit it this week as it became the most used word in Ireland, thanks to the Dublin and Kilkenny camogie teams wearing shorts as protest at the Leinster Camogie Final last weekend. It felt only right to talk to Aisling Maher, one of those leading the charge in relation to the LUDICROUS and ANTEQUATED rule which dictates that women and girls must wear skirts or skorts to play the fast-paced, highly physical game. I learned a lot, and some of it left me open-mouthed in shock.

    This week I was delighted to catch up with Shaquira Knightly and Naomi Diamond, two thirds of Haus of Wig. I was delighted to catch up with them about what we can expect from that night, how they came to drag, their gorgeous friendship, supporting Chappell Roan and lots more. • 295. Catch Up with Sarah Corbett Lynch

    42:36||Season 1, Ep. 295
    Send your thoughts, feelings, opinions and suggestions to 0892096423!You may be familiar with Sarah Corbett Lynch from her best-selling book A Time for Truth: My Father Jason and the Search for Justice and Healing, or you may have followed the extensive coverage of the court case around her father's death, or perhaps you've watched the new Netflix documentary A Deadly American Marriage which also looks at the circumstances surrounding her father's death. The story has been told, well. This conversation with Sarah doesn't focus extensively on the night that traumatic incident happened, but more on Sarah herself, how she is, and what her experience of being at the centre of all of this has been like. I found her to be incredibly impressive - centred, articulate and warm. I think you will too.To support the podcast and access bonus episodes, join the community on Patreon here.
