The word 'skort' did not know what hit it this week as it became the most used word in Ireland, thanks to the Dublin and Kilkenny camogie teams wearing shorts as protest at the Leinster Camogie Final last weekend. It felt only right to talk to Aisling Maher, one of those leading the charge in relation to the LUDICROUS and ANTEQUATED rule which dictates that women and girls must wear skirts or skorts to play the fast-paced, highly physical game. I learned a lot, and some of it left me open-mouthed in shock.
