Catch Up on the European Election with Sinead O'Carroll

Season 1, Ep. 139

Send your thoughts, feelings, opinions and suggestions to 0892096423!

The European election is coming up and there are ONE HUNDRED MILLION CANDIDATES* and it can all be a little confusing so I got the brilliant Sinead O'Carroll, editor of TheJournal.ie, back to help. She explains why our vote is so important, how to get basic info about the candidates and how to use your vote most effectively. This episode isn't about telling you who to vote for, rather making sure you feel empowered to use your vote in the best way for you.

You can find The Journal's European election resource here.

Tickets for the live show in the Laughter Lounge on May 29th are available here!

This week I spoke to Niamh McDonald, Director of Advocacy and Community Engagement at the Hope and Courage Collective, and I learned a lot. Here are the links Niamh mentioned during our conversation:Messaging guidance  Newsletter sign upInformation on social media demandsTo support the podcast and access bonus episodes (including my brand new monthly tv/movies/whatever you're having yourself episode with Emer) join our community on Patreon.
