Ever since my own ADHD diagnosis, you guys have been asking me to do an episode on it, and today I'm delighted to bring you a conversation with psychologist Karen Beckett. Karen's work has long focused on ADHD, and it's through her work that she came to seek her own diagnosis. I really enjoyed this conversation about our own experience with ADHD, the way it presents itself in women, and the challenges of parenting with it.

Kimberly has spent more than a decade working in education around inclusivity for LGBTQIA people in end of life care, A year and a half after she published LGBTQ-Inclusive Hospice & Palliative Care: A Practical Guide to Transforming Professional Practice in 2017, Kim learned that her wife Kathy had ovarian cancer. Kim and Kathy spent the next six months sharing their experiences via social media and giving people a sense of what it's like to be living while dying. Shortly after Kathy died in August 2019, a New Yorker documentary film was made about Kim, Kathy, and their son Greyson.
