This week our guest is Ingrid Leary, NZ Member of Parliament for Taieri electorate. She talk about her life, her work, her activism, and meeting His Holiness The Dalai Lama. Amongst her many roles Ingrid co-chaired the Inter-parliamentary Alliance on China, the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Taiwan, and the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians. She was also the Ambassador for Women in the New Zealand Parliament.

This week we are joined again by Alison Phipps, the UNESCO Chair in Refugee Integration through Languages and the Arts at the University of Glasgow where she is also Professor of Languages and Intercultural Studies. She is based in School of Education at the University of Glasgow where she uses creative, decolonising and restorative methods to teach widely in refugee studies, critical multilingual studies, religious and spiritual education, anthropology and intercultural education and education for non-violence.

This week we welcome back Rula Youssef to talk with us two years on from our last conversation. Rula is a key figure in her local Palestinian community. She talks about the recent ceasefire in Gaza and what it really means for her family, her fellow Palestinian's and her homeland.

Scott Willis Green MP. This week we speak with Scott Willis, NZ Green Party List MP about his life and experiences. He shares how they shaped his unexpected entry into politics. Scott also shares his thoughts on alternative responses governments like New Zealand’s, could make to bring an end to the genocide in Gaza.

David shares his wisdom and suggests we should always “leave room for miracle.”
