01:05:44||Season 3, Ep. 5Being inclusive and making every performer of all ethnicities feel valued and heard is paramount. It's a topic I've wanted to cover for a while and I couldn't think of a business more impactful than the Tired movement.Tired stands for Trying to improve racial equality in dance, and it's their mission to open up communication that motivates teachers for the next generation. This movement aims to remove the fear of discussing racism amongst peers and colleagues and to ensure that good practices within the dance industry are adhered to. To add to the incredible work, founders Stacey and Laura created Shades dancewear.SHADES dancewear is an inclusive UK brand that encourages dancers to embrace their ethnicity and retain their identity from the minute they step into their first dance class. Shades is the first and only UK dancewear brand to provide four shades of skin tone dancewear across all of their products, in all child and adult sizes. It was an absolute privilege to talk with Stacey and I'm certain you will be hooked from beginning to end. https://www.tiredmovement.com/https://shades-dancewear.com/4.
