2019 AGM held in Limerick but attended by many Cork
dairy farmers. The AGM was attended by An Taoiseach
Leo Varadkar and the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the
Marine Michael Creed TD amongst many top-ranking
figures from the agri-sector.
Following the re-covening of the Beef Task Force
the IFA have been blockading major retailers'
distribution centres in Cork, in support of their demand for
an immediate price increase for beef.
The collapse in beef prices has impacted on the rates of compensation
for animals testing positive for bovine TB... Barry Cassidy, News
