Nuffield Scholar and Mallow dairy farmer , Niall O'Regan
recalls the opportunities for advancing his knowledge and
experience of farming across the globe, afforded to him by
Nuffield Farming Scholarships (Ireland)..
Niall will deliver a keynote report on " Nutrient Management & Water
Quality" at the Nuffield Conference in Dublin next Friday 16th. of November.
Although the Nuffield Farming Scholarships were the brainchild of
UK philanthropist, Lord Nuffield, young people from all over the world
now benefit from the 2-year scholarships
Following extensive research and inspection of almost nine thousand
documents made available under the Freedom of Information Act,
news correspondent with the Irish Farmers Journal, Ms. Hannah Quinn-Mulligan
reports on the extent of Vulture Fund ownership of Cork farmland.
(It had been planned to air this interview last week but due to pressure on
available space the report had to be held over).
