Communities rally together to help each other out during the big freeze

Patricia is speaking with Colm Meaney of Meaney's Centra in Dromcollogher who had milk delivered by tractor earlier in the week. Artic trucks made it to the store to deliver further supplies.

Colm is making the point that if this had been in a city location, further help would have been offered by the state.

Patricia is also speaking with Mick Callaghan from Meals on Wheels in Ballyvourney who told Patricia he called to one woman who had seen no one since last Friday and was running low in supplies with only half a litre of milk left along with a few slices of bread.

The Meals on Wheels topped up this woman with supplies and will continue to check on people like this in the region
