Burned by a Paper Sun

On May 27th of 2017, the apartment of reporter Elle Williams was investigated due to her prolonged absence from both work and social life. Testimony from neighbors said that she had grown isolated and quiet in recent weeks. According to one woman, the last person seen coming from her apartment wore a wide brimmed hat and long coat, not unlike those worn by The Dark Hats - a pejorative term for citizens of the city of Nighthead.  The only other clue to her whereabouts was an article, of sorts, left on her writing desk. It was dated only a few weeks before her disappearance and describes William's most recent work.Follow us on Twitter at @maeltopiaWant to learn more about the world of Maeltopia?
