Episode 1 – Brewing Underground: The Wear Beer Podcast.
In this very first episode, Steve and Julio discuss what is going on down at Wear Beer, what's brewing and where you can grab a pint near you. They also discuss hops, the industry in and UK, their importance in the brew.
You'll also hear about how and why Julio uses British hops in his Pale Ale, a 3.8% ABV - full bodied, light golden pale ale, hopped with new English Hops Jester and Olicana. Brewed with Maris Otter and cara-malts giving it a light malt character, balanced with a light bitterness, making it a great, easy drinking session ale
