Story line reads: An a-typical barista with a dream - from a small island in the Pacific Northwest to Oakland, California where dreams dance with sunshine and Umeshiso Coffee Supply is born. Now settled in the diverse coffee haven of Kansas City. A Gaysian-owned coffee and tableware business that empowers people from all backgrounds. As well as running Get Psyched Coffee, a nonprofit initiative with GoFundBean providing free psychiatric care for coffee workers.


We talk neurodiversity, autism and self diagnosis, as well as ways of accommodating neurodivergent individuals in a neurotypical industry culture.
