The Blue Jays are in a bit of a skid as they split a four-game series with the Orioles, got dropped by the Yankees, and then lost two of three to the White Sox. 


In this episode of BJN Radio, we recapped the series with the White Sox and talked about how the Blue Jays are badly in need of some bullpen help. We also looked at the American League All-Star vote and why it's making Yankees fans so upset. 


After that, we looked ahead to the upcoming series with the Milwaukee Brewers and took a look back at the Rowdy Tellez trade that happened just over one year ago.

We also talked about how much heavy lifting the pitching staff has had to do thus far. After that, we discussed the comments that MLB insider Ken Rosenthal made about the Blue Jays and their long-term outlook. Finally, we looked ahead to this weekend's series against the Washington Nationals, which could see the return of Alek Manoah to the big-league rotation.

We also talked about how Kevin Gausman was his ace-like self in Toronto's only win of the series on Sunday. After that, we took a look around the American League East, which saw top prospect Jackson Holliday sent back down to Triple-A after a rough start with the Baltimore Orioles. They're off to a nice 13-9 start, but nearly half of those wins have come against the lowly Chicago White Sox.
