HOW TO USE YOUR ENERGY TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES AND OPEN DOORS

Ep. 26

In this episode we talk with the utterly wonderful and super insightful James Meadows. James is always a joy to talk to, and this occasion was no exception!

We chat right through from the beginning of his career, starting out as a lad from Hull who just wanted to get involved, through to where he is now, SVP of Marketing

at Chrysalis Records, covering his roles at Warner, Universal (and more!) along the way. In this episode, James discuss a whole load of subjects including the importance of

both curiosity and the people you have around you, the power of positivity, doing the thing, AND putting yourself in the right place to create opportunities!

I had such a fab time talking to James. His warmth, desire to make a positive impact, and help others on their journey is wonderful and it was such a treat to have him on the

pod. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as we did, whether you’re just starting out or already further along your music business career path :)

In each episode, we make a donation to a cause our guest cares about and James picked The Warren Youth Project based in Hull who work with 16–25 year olds. They offer people to listen, spaces to create, and support that helps young people move forward, in whatever way they need.
