    Danny and Rob from Bike Worcester review the permitted cycling routes through Worcester City Centre. As of October 2024, there is a set of Traffic Regulation Orders that prohibit mobility scooters, motor vehicles, and cycling between the hours of 10am and 6pm. The TRO is not enforced by West Mercia Police and Bike Worcester has suggested for many years that Worcestershire County Council review the scheme and focus on enabling routes for cycling across the City (North to South, and East to West).More details on the Bike Worcester website and Worcester News

    Rob welcomes Jordi Honey-Rosés, a senior researcher at the University of Barcelona to discuss the next Global Bike Bus Summit, which will be hosted in Worcester 9th - 11th April 2025.For more information, visit bikebussummit.org and subscribe to the mailing list, or bikeworcester.org.uk for more about Bike Worcester.--Dr. Jordi Honey-Rosés is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (ICTA-UAB). He is an environmental planner (University of Illinois, PhD) specialized in impact evaluation. He joined ICTA-UAB after eight years at the School of Community and Regional Planning at the University of British Columbia (2013-2021) where he was Associate Professor with tenure. He has published widely on urban experiments and impact evaluation in leading international scientific journals and his teaching has been recognized with the prestigious University Killam Teaching Award. He has university degrees from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master in Public Policy (MPP) from the Harvard Kennedy School. (Source)

Oscar is 12 years old and visually impaired: in this episode, Lars and Oscar describe a typical tandem outing, encounter some horses (twice!) and Oscar shares his experiences of being blind.
