This has been the hardest ep of BYAMPOD ever to put together. It's another experiment with Suno, throwing new light on some Marillion old songs using some of the website's new features - but we take a different approach to last time. We tried to bring new life to some pre-EMI demos, and reimagined the back catalogue in wildly different ways to shed new light on the music. It's further terrifying evidence of what AI can do... but also, reassuringly, a demonstration of what it can'tyet do and probably never will. We'd never take an AI Marillion - or any musician - over the real thing. The fact this ep has taken days to make shows just how limited it is. It's also an epic of an episode, so you might want to break it up. ..
