  • Beers and Beards Episode 154: Traveller Whiskey and Narrow Path Old Fashioned

    01:14:54
After an extended break, we're back. This week Gary breaks out the Traveller Whiskey, while David drinks Narrow Path Old Fashioned. Traveller Whiskey is a collaboration between Grammy award winner Chris Stapleton and Buffalo Trace. The blended whiskey has complex aromas of vanilla, aged fruit and buttery shortbread rounded off by caramel and a touch of oak. The palate has just a touch of sweetness, followed by spice, toasted nut and oak flavors, with a robust finish. Narrow Path Old Fashioned is a beer inspired by the popular cocktail. It's an amber lager with blood orange peels, Luxardo cherries & bourbon soaked oak chips. We also discuss the follow news stories:Vintage Bourbon gets Virginians fired upBT adds news EH Taylor Barrel Proof RyeJimmy Buffets Plane taken out of Universal StudiosOhio Craft Brewer Assoc to tackle Franchise Law ReformHulk Hogan launches 'Real American Beer' lager brand in 4 states with 13 more plannedMake sure to visit Beers and Beards Podcast for a full list of our episodes.Use code “MMAMcKinney” for 10% off at Rivalry Brews as well as 10% off at BeardOctane.com with code BeersBeards10.Support us and get a free trial of Amazon Music by heading over to www.getamazonmusic.com/beersandbeards. Check out our full list of Craft Beer Reviews and Bourbon Reviews on our website.
