Welcome to the very first episode of Beacon Bites, a new short-form podcast dedicated to one interview per show. We talk to a range of local figures to find out how they're making a contribution to our community here in Gorebridge, Midlothian.
First up, we speak to Ronnie and John, from the Dalkeith Men's Shed, who are starting a similar venture at the Gorebridge Beacon from Wednesday 11th June (10am-12noon, and 6-8pm). You'll hear how Men's Sheds started, what they can offer, and why they're important for men's mental health and wellbeing. So come along on 11th June and find out what a men's shed can do for you!
