Tamiko Porter is Director and LeadGuide at Norwood Montessori School. Norwood Montessori School offers a quality Montessori education to children ages 2 to 18 years old. The first 8 years are the most important years in a child’s life. Emotionally, physically and cognitively speaking, this is when their development of personality and individuality takes place. Norwood Montessori covers these areas and more while giving you peace of mind as a parent, knowing that your child is being taken care of in a loving, educational environment.

Norwood Montessori School is DEEC licensed. The teachers are Lead Teacher certified and are members of AMS. Norwood Montessori is also a member of Montessori Schools of MA. We offer a low teacher / child ratio.

Our school offers a Toddler Program, 3 Primary (3 to 6 Years old) classrooms, an Elementary Class (1st - 6th Grade) and a Secondary Program for Students ages 12 - 18. This includes a private full day Kindergarten, an Elementary School, a Middle School and a High School. We also have an extended day program, a French Program and a music program. In addition, we have a Montessori based Summer and Vacation Week programs.
