Ball and Torah is proud to introduce a new mini-series in which the guys will delve into different topics of Judaism related to sports, such as Halachos, Hashkafa and much more. In the inaugural episode, Azi and Gavi are joined by Rav Netanel Lebowitz, Mashgiach Ruchani of Yeshivat Lev Hatorah. They will discuss the role of sports in our lives as Jews, playing sports on Shabbos, having good middos while playing, and tons more!

In this Father's Day special episode of Ball & Torah, Azi and Gavi are joined by their fathers; Daniel Frogel and Judah Aspler. In this pod they discuss the Golden State Warriors becoming the 2022 NBA Champs (3:50). After a long discussion about the Warriors and Celtics, Mr. Aspler delivers a Dvar Torah about not forgetting where you came from (31:40). The guys then play a game called Over or Under (36:25). The Conference Finals just ended, and the guys, joined by Binyamin Glanz (0:20) are ready to talk about the Finals. But, before the Finals Preview, they give their takeaways and thoughts on the Conference Finals (1:40). Afterwards, we had the zechus of hearing a beautiful Vort about Shavuos from Rav Paltiel (16:59). Following Rav Paltiels vort, the guys finally arrive at the ikur of the podcast, the NBA Finals Preview (22:20). After an amazing preview of the NBA Finals, Binyamin shares a Dvar Torah which you don't want to miss (38:20). The guys then end of the episode with an amazing Q & A, with questions submitted from our listeners (47:10).

In the 3rd episode of Ball & Torah, Azi & Gavi are joined by Toronto native Coby Cohen. The guys react to Luka's decimation of the Suns (0:48). They then go on to react to Game 7 of Celtics vs Bucks, as well as there takeaways from the series (7:10) followed by a brief discussion regarding where Tatum ranks in the NBA today (9:15). Azi, Coby & Gavi give their predictions, x-factors and preview of Celtics vs Heat (13:54), as well as a preview of Mavs vs Warriors (19:16). The guys answer the question "will Curry start slowing down anytime soon?" (26:10). Rav Boaz then shares a vort about Lev Ba'Omer following Maariv. The last basketball related topic of the podcast is "which remaining player is most impacted by winning a ring this year?" (31:00). The podcast concludes with an amazing Parsha Dvar Torah from our Guest Coby Cohen (34:55). Quick Note: We apologize for this episode not having as many Divrei Torah as usual. We were unable to get a dvar torah for the middle due to Lag Ba'Omer. We also want to apologize for the ending of the podcast, we recorded a whole Q & A segment which turned out very well, but unfortunately the audio for that segment was corrupted. Anyways, we'll make sure to work harder to avoid these issues in future episode. Thanks for listening!
