Malice and spite and everything nice… If “be more spiteful” was on your to-do list for 2024, we’ve got some good inspo for you in Episode 9 of Bad Architecture…SPITE HOUSES! Then Erin shares the story of Al Ba’sa, or “The Grudge.” No, not the horror movie from 2004, but a slim lil building in Beirut with a pretty lasting legacy all its own.  For the Bad Ass portion of the show, Sarah shares the opposite of spite with a hand-built home that’s filled with architectural and actual treasures! And one with a sad story more fitting for a Grimm fairytale. Then Erin blows Sarah away with the Inflatable Church industry. You read that right…Inflatable. Church. If visions of bounce houses with flying buttresses are dancing in your head, you’re not far off.  To wrap the episode, Sarah shares a Bad Ass church that will make you drop to your knees in pure rapture.
