Rebecca Trehearn (Sweet Charity, Ghost, Show Boat)
Rebecca Trehearn has one of the most beautifully unique voices in British musical theatre. A wealth of credits to her name, she won the Olivier for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical in 2017 for Showboat.
Rebecca’s currently starring in Sweet Charity at Nottingham Playhouse. She kindly took some time out of her busy rehearsals last month to have a chat with me about all the shows she’s been in, and the ones still on her to-do list.
I first saw Rebecca as a lead in Ghost in 2012 when she covered the role of Molly in the West End (a role she later played in her own right on tour). She told me how that show helped her through her own grief of losing a loved one.
You can see Rebecca in Sweet Charity at Nottingham Playhouse until 22nd September 2018.
