Auto Correct: Coolant

We’re talking about coolant for your vehicle or should I say antifreeze? Are they the same thing? Let’s find out from Coach. We also will get answers to other questions.

Recalls:

  • model-year 2014-16 Nissan Rogues. There’s an Electrical Fire Hazard for the under-dash harness that may corrode due to water and salt intrusion from the driver-side footwell.  Nissan is still developing a remedy, but interim owner-notification letters will be mailed March 2 and a second letter will follow once a remedy has been found. Those with questions can call the automaker at 800-867-7669 and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236

You can find out if your car has a past recall by going to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website: https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls and inputting your VIN number. Or find their SaferCar app.

In the news:
