Mind Your Ps and Qs: Exploring Etiquette with Lucy Challenger, CEO of Polo & Tweed and a Master of Manners

Season 1, Ep. 19

Mind your manners. Be on your best behaviour.

Your mom had it right.

Etiquette is a code of conduct, a set of customs and courtesies that vary from culture to culture. Sometimes the rules for behaviour are embedded in centuries of tradition, and some we are still trying to sort out as a society. If we don't follow these rules, especially while travelling, we can get ourselves into hot water.

In this episode, we delve deeper into the historical roots of etiquette and its role in modern day society with leading etiquette expert and CEO of Polo and Tweed, Lucy Challenger.

So let’s sharpen our social graces and pursue our passion for protocol as we explore the mannerly matter of etiquette.

    46:21||Season 3, Ep. 4
    Adoption is a beautiful, poignant, terrifying, and difficult human experience that millions of people the world over know intimately. The act of adopting a child into one’s own family is one of the greatest gifts one can bestow on another, but the process can be very challenging.   The inspiring and incredibly big-hearted Holli Beckett recounts how she and her husband Robert of Williamsport, Indiana were moved to grow their family of five, by adopting three children. The question wasn't about whether or not their family needed more kids, but rather if there were more kids who needed their family. One of our most heartwarming interviews to date! *****You can find a full list of our sources for this episode, great merchandise and our whole back catalog at www.harrisandwalker.com.  Reference to any specific product or entity does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by Harris and Walker.
