The Repack: Packers' 2024 season ends with a whimper
•
The Green Bay Packers' 2024 season ended much the same way that it started: with the team losing to the Philadelphia Eagles, in part due to shooting themselves in the dick. Tex Western breaks down the Packers' 22-10 Wild Card loss to the Eagles, looking at the team's identity as a talented but sloppy squad, breaking down the injuries that struck on Sunday, and taking a brief glimpse into what the offseason might have in store for this team.

The Repack: Packers take down Bears to claim NFC North lead
52:47|The Green Bay Packers defeated the Chicago Bears 28-21 in Week 14, taking back possession of the lead in the NFC North with four weeks left in the season. Tex and Justis Mosqueda break down the game, with nods to Christian Watson and Josh Jacobs for big performances in a crucial divisional matchup. Also: Micah Parsons is still great, Caleb Williams still can't operate a normal drop-back passing game, and Kingsley Enagbare had a big day with a big stop. And what was Ben Johnson thinking calling that play on 4th down that led to Keisean Nixon's game-sealing pick? The world may never know.
The UnPack: The Pack is back (huh!)
56:23|Nick, Alex, and Zach reheat some Thanksgiving leftovers and talk about the ascending vibes surrounding the Packers after their turkey day defeat of the Detroit Lions. The guys then turn their attention to the (hopefully) out-over-their-skis Chicago Bears ahead of another division showdown.
Reporting As Eligible - Are the Bears Actually Good
01:22:55|On a new Reporting as Eligible, the guys discuss the Lions game, whether beating a compromised injury plagued team is really that good, and then they turn to the Bears where they cover whether beating the Eagles is really all that. There's McDuffie praise, talk of one-score games, DVOA, Ben Johnson and the roof-punching guy, Love as an MVP candidate, Jordan Morgan not playing, Devonte Wyatt, and of course, listener questions.
The Repack: Packers cage Lions on turkey day
40:54|The Green Bay Packers won on Thanksgiving for the third straight season, so Tex is breaking down their 31-24 victory over the Detroit Lions from Thursday. From Jordan Love getting another turkey leg to Dontayvion Wicks' career game to Micah Parsons doing Micah Parsons things, it was a fun game to watch, especially with Matt LaFleur calling an aggressive game. It's also time to really start looking at the playoff picture, especially with a big game against the Chicago Bears -- currently the NFC's number one seed, if you can believe it -- coming up next Sunday.
Reporting as Eligible - Injured Funky Handoffs
01:31:32|So, with Jordan's shoulder all hurt and Emanuel Wilson going crazy on Minnesota, did Matt learn bad lessons? Or was this a just the smart plan against one of the worst quarterbacks of all time. And will the show be longer than the game was? Tune in and find out with Paul and Matt!
The Repack: Packers cruise to comfy 23-6 win over Vikings
45:35|In tonight's episode of The Repack, Tex is joined by Tyler Brooke to discuss the Packers' oddly comfortable 23-6 win over the Minnesota Vikings. J.J. McCarthy was hilariously bad, Micah Parsons reached double-digit sacks, Emanuel Wilson hit the century mark, and Daniel Whelan continued his All-Pro campaign. Meanwhile, the Packers made a big change on the offensive line that looks like it might be a good move in the long term. All in all, it was the easiest, most relaxing Packers game in a while, so let's all enjoy discussing that before what's sure to be a crazy Thanksgiving Day game against the Lions. Go Pack Go!
The UnPack: Building the plan while flying
54:15|Nick gives a boots-on-the-ground report after seeing the Packer beat the Giants at a gusty MetLife Stadium before we turn our attention toward the Vikings and JJ McCarthy. And prop bets. Also that.
Reporting as Eligible - The Darko Correlation
01:32:07|On a new Reporting as Eligible, the guys report on how this game grew on them, how Jordan Love was secretly very good to the extent that it was debatably the best game of his career, how Malik Willis is a very good backup, and how everyone need to learn to catch, and also return punts. They guys also take on Rashan Gary, Stone Temple Pilots, sideline urination, hard playing surfaces, wind, and several other hot topics of the day, including listener questions!
The Repack, Week 11: Packers overcome dropsies against Giants
57:36|It's time for another episode of The Repack after the Green Bay Packers' 27-20 win over the New York Giants. Justis joins Tex to discuss the game, where they talk about the horrible case of the drops that hit this team, costing them a much more convincing victory. Between 6 or 7 drops on offense and four dropped interceptions on defense, this team needs to figure out the fundamentals, and that might just come down to going cheap on the coaching staff. Also, Christian Watson was awesome (aside from his one drop), Daniel Whelan should be an All-Pro, and Savion Williams may have saved the Packers' season. But Emanuel Wilson? Let's not heap praise on someone who is just another guy. Still, it's a win, and there are some positive things to build on in the passing game, even if the run game didn't live up to expectations against a terrible run defense. Go Pack Go!
