Frozen Tundra Frequencies - Talking Green Bay Packers 24/7/1265
The Repack: Bye Week & Quarter Season Check-In
•
The Green Bay Packers had a bye in week 5, but there's plenty to talk about with the team sitting at 2-1-1 after the first quarter of the 2025 season. Tex and special guest Justis Mosqueda break down the frustrating issues that cost the Packers two wins in their last two games, why special teams is hard to coach when your personnel department and head coach only let you play backups, and why Matt LaFleur has cut the fuel lines on his own "All Gas, No Brake" message from a few years ago. The good news? The Bengals await next week, having given up 27 points in four straight games and featuring a noodle-armed backup quarterback with a terrible offensive line in front of him.

Reporting as Eligible - Matt is Terrible Part 2 - The Questions
36:37|Paul had some bourbon and his voice was giving out. But he made it!
The UnPack: LaFleur fanée
54:57|Zach, Alex, and Nick gather for a cathartic complain-a-thon including haikus, screeds, and soap boxes. Can LaFleur get his Packers cleaned up and ready to beat the New York Giants?
Reporting as Eligible - Matt is Terrible but Matub is Fine
01:20:09|On a post-loss, record-setting Reporting as Eligible, the guys discuss the future of Matt LaFleur, what the Packers should have done, kicking, injuries, how Jordan messed up fourth down, procedure penalties, Jeff Hafley's defense, and just a ton of listener questions.
The Repack: LaFleur has his McCarthy moment
54:44|Has the NFL already passed Matt LaFleur by? On this week's episode of the Repack, Tex is joined by Paul Noonan and, later, Justis Mosqueda to discuss an abysmal offensive performance by the Green Bay Packers in their 10-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Why won't LaFleur adjust his offensive philosophy? Does he even understand when his unit is actually efficient? And why in the hell does this team insist on keeping two kickers on the roster but playing the one who's hurt? It's a bad sign when your season evokes memories of the 2015 and 2018 Mike McCarthy teams, but here we are.
The UnPack: Trying to find the positive
51:09|Zach and Nick are joined by special guest Justis Mosqueda to try to find something—anything—positive to say after a disastrous week for the Green Bay Packers.
Reporting as Eligible - Carolina Low
01:24:52|On a brand spanking new Reporting as Eligible, Paul and JR discuss the abominable loss to Carolina, and just how much heat Matt LaFleur should take when there was quite a lot of other things that went wrong out of his control. Managers do not control injuries and wind. But they do control bubble screens and when to go for it on 4th and 8, and so the boys still let him have it a bit. What's life like after Kraft? Nate Hobbs is hurt again. The pass rush was non-existent, and Rico Dowdle thrust his way to victory. Is there still a contender buried in there? Plus, listener questions!
The Repack: Packers get embarrassed by Panthers at home
56:24|The Packers made Tex and Justis mad as hell, and now you're all going to hear about it. Green Bay lost to the Carolina Panthers 16-13 on Sunday at Lambeau Field in a game when the offense had no answers, lost Tucker Kraft (probably for the year), and the defense couldn't get even a tiny bit of pressure on Bryce Young despite the Panthers playing several backup offensive linemen. That means tonight's Repack is a bit of a cathartic journey, exploring Matt LaFleur's shortcomings, chaos in the college football coaching ranks, and how and when the Packers should try to move on from kicker Brandon McManus. Hopefully this will be as much of an emotional release for you, the listener, as it was for Justis and Tex.
The UnPack: Cuz he's the YAC man (ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop)
01:00:13|Zach, Alex, and Nick gather to reflect on Jordan Love's performance against Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers, and to celebrate Tucker Kraft's National Tight Ends Day YAC-a-thon. The Green Bay Packers vibes = high, folks.
Reporting as Eligible - King Hippo Strategy
01:24:21|On a brand new Reporting as Eligible, Matt, Paul, and JR discuss why this game was so fun, even though they were far from perfect and still left some points on the field. Christian Watson and Tucker Kraft rule, Micah Parsons is transcendent, Jordan Love completed 20 straight passes, and JR did a Matt. Plus listener questions!
