Hong Kong has its fair share of gruesome murders that have long fascinated true crime enthusiasts and armchair detectives. However, nothing really compares to the 1999 murder of Fan Man-yee, a 23 year old sex worker who also worked as a hostess in a club and brothel.
Fueled with anger, greed and dangerous drugs, the perpetrators in this case would go on to commit a crime so heinous and depraved that people still talk about it with utter disbelief after two decades.
