  • Arsecast Extra Episode 545 - 18.09.2023

    01:34:56
In this episode we look back at the 1-0 win over Everton on Sunday. We chat about Arsenal's control of this game (and others this season), and whether it comes at a cost to our attacking play. We then discuss the Gabriel Martinelli disallowed goal, Fabio Vieira's selection in midfield, the set-piece play and finish from Leandro Trossard which won the game, before moving on to the big talking point – David Raya starting over Aaron Ramsdale. Mikel Arteta's post-game comments about that decision were fascinating – are we about to see a new era of goalkeeping rotation, or was this simply a changing of the guard. Then there are listener questions about Declan Rice's influence, hoodoo games we'd like to win, Eddie Nketiah/Gabriel Jesus and the centre-forward role, winning lots of corners, and loads more.Get extra bonus content and help support Arseblog by becoming an Arseblog Member on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/arseblog
