Daly previously fronted the Nashville-based band <a href=\"https://open.spotify.com/artist/2EoJ4ILZNAHjVtZgmWBaID?si=F8fs_R49Qy2FjTfZbTKJHg\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Paper Route</a> and more recently co-produced K. Flay's wildly successful album <em>Every Where Is Some Where</em>, including the hit single \"<a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2WcOdz96ko\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Blood in the Cut</a>\" (for which Daly received Grammy nominations for Best Rock Song and Best Engineered Album). Daly is onto his next project, a new band called <a href=\"https://open.spotify.com/artist/6nlw4D7oR55CPJZn8iE7cS?si=U0AvMhdQTkadrGKdhjuajA\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">The Voodoo Children</a> who are releasing their debut album this spring entitled <em>Instant Nostalgia</em>. The Voodoo Children could be looked at as a collective, a team of talents that JT has worked with throughout his career. The phenomenally talented lineup includes his partner Jo Meredith (<a href=\"https://open.spotify.com/artist/2rnpDWpFQfRdym9rkfx69M?si=eZxlfQS_RNuuqWd9Dh6pKg\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Sad Penny</a>), Daniel Tashian (producer and co-writer with Kacey Musgraves), <a href=\"https://open.spotify.com/artist/0pCNk4D3E2xtszsm6hMsWr?si=6qkJ2VPWTEOH5pY9gtjBnw\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">K.Flay</a>, Bantug, Abby Wright, Angela Plake (Bandit), Oran Thornton, Josh Lippi, his longtime engineer Josh Lovell, and Gregg Alexander of the <a href=\"https://open.spotify.com/artist/0Grjlu7ncIuCaSYvCs9fcd?si=fuZbb_lMQkuEdTsPiO64Hg\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">New Radicals</a>. While The Voodoo Children certainly persist as the main focus of the interview, Michael and JT embark on a career spanning interview where they expound upon JT’s early influences, his solo album entitled <a href=\"https://open.spotify.com/album/0noZQfENPMnAnJ0mlGaMKC?si=-mTPWNrmTK6aUQli-OFKAg\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Memory</em></a>, the <a href=\"https://open.spotify.com/album/56B51VgI95Yy3I3hLVWnWS?si=0GhkCJJzQ5yd4DWN8zwmMA\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">soundtrack</a> he composed for ESPN’s 30 for 30 documentary film <em>Chuck &amp; Tito</em>, and much, much more.</p>","author_name":"Across the Margin / Osiris Media"}
