Some news on Don't Feed the Darkness, our Scaredy Boys anthology, and it's a bit of a mixed bag. The October self-publish plan is officially off, but not because things have gone wrong. A generous friend of the show has helped get the manuscript in front of some publishers, who've agreed to read it. So we're pausing the DIY release to see if this goes somewhere exciting.
Is it guaranteed? No. Have we said \"it's definitely coming out this year\" approximately four years running? Sure. But this feels like a real shot at giving the book, and Barker Island, a proper home, so we're happy to sit in the uncertainty for a bit and we hope you are too.
