She lost her first daughter at eighteen weeks. She fought endometriosis for nine years before anyone listened. She went through miscarriages and divorce before building a blended family of six from scratch. She manages anxiety daily, the kind that lives in the body before it lives in the mind.</p><p><br></p><p>And then in December 2024, her brother in law Jason Rigby was found dying in his staff apartment at the Crowne Plaza Nadi in Fiji. He was 40 years old, three days from his 41st birthday. The official ruling was suicide. His family has never accepted that ruling. The case has been featured on 60 Minutes Australia, a follow up story is in development, and the investigation is still active.</p><p><br></p><p>Jess has been fighting for justice across international borders from a kitchen table on the Gold Coast while raising four kids and running two businesses.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a conversation about what it actually takes to keep going when life keeps asking impossible things of you.
