Born in Mexico City to a family of aesthetes, Rodrigo Flores-Roux was destined to be a perfumer. He reminisces about his fragrance-loving grandmothers, his training in Versailles, and the more than 500 perfumes he’s created—including Clinique Happy and Arquiste Misfit, the Fragrance Foundation’s 2021 Indie Fragrance of the Year.
