Bryony Kimmings is an award-winning writer and performer whose work spans television, film and groundbreaking live performance. Most recently, she adapted The Rapture into a five-part television drama starring Ruth Madeley. She also co-wrote, with Emma Thompson, the screenplay for the film Last Christmas, starring Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding. Widely regarded as one of the UK’s most original contemporary performers, Bryony creates multi-platform works that blend autobiography, social experimentation and performance art. Her acclaimed shows include I’m a Phoenix, Bitch, Credible Likeable Superstar Role Model and Fake It Till You Make It, all of which received widespread critical praise and multiple five-star reviews. Her latest production, Bog Witch, follows a critically acclaimed London run and is now touring venues across the UK and Ireland. Inspired by Bryony’s own life, the show explores her decision to uproot herself and her son to live in an isolated cottage in the wilderness in an attempt to reconnect with nature and rediscover happiness and sanity.
