Comedian Joe Wells is a favourite amongst other comedians and has supported Frankie Boyle, Alexei Sayle and Stephen K Amos. Joe made his name as a political comedian with critically acclaimed Fringe shows including 'Night Of The Living Tories', '10 Things I Hate About UKIP' and 'I Hope I Die Before I Start Voting Conservative', in recent years he has moved into more personal material about mental health and being autistic. Joe’s written two books, Touch and Go Joe: An Adolescents experience of OCD, hence and his latest book, Differently Wired: 30 Neurodivergent People Who You Should Know. He’s won Comedy Central’s Funniest Student in 2010, The Portsmouth Guide Award in 2014, 2017, 2018, was finalist in The Hackney Empire Joe has appeared on BBC2's 'Ouch Storytelling Live’, Amnesty International's 'Human TV' and writes for 'The Revolution Will Be Televised' and 'Have I Got News For You’. He co-hosts the podcasts `Emergency Mixtape' and ‘Neurodivergent Moments’. Act Of The Year, Runner Up at the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, and a finalist at The London New Comedy Awards.
