In May of this year David Butler from Kilbeg joined Sinéad on the show to make a special appeal on behalf of his 8 year old son Bear who has additional needs. Bear who is just 8 hadn't been outside his house in over a year as he needed a specially modified vehicle to transport his bigger motorised wheelchair. The family couldn't afford the huge cost of the vehicle so they set up a go Fund me page. The response to David's plea for help was huge. He updated Sinéad on their situation.
