Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip!
Once again, paths that have been log eluding each other have finally converged and here we are, as Pip finally meets the amazing singer songwriter RAG’N’BONE MAN!
Judging by the Youtube views for his single ‘Human’, as one of the billion+ viewers and fans, YOU - dear listener - are probably partly responsible for his astronomic rise to stardom from humble beginning in Uckfield / Brighton. And he we are! The homie is a household name. So hear his tale from beginning to end, from said beginnings to doing PR through a pandemic, the formulations and assembly of his new album, Nashville (obviously not the US series, great as it was), scenes in London and Brighton, paying dues, stage presence, opening for Pharoahe Monch and other such legends, lockdown with the kid, achieving warmth in his new record, getting a band in a room and more… Excellent stuff, enjoy and keep an ear out for the new album!
