Surely you will be familiar with the podcast No Such Thing As A Fish by now - either as a hardcore listener or from seeing it time and time again on top podcast lists. It’s the show you know Dan Schreiber from, being part of the greater QI stables and leading from Dan’s own ‘elf’ status on QI. Here’s a great chance to hear Dan’s origin story, geographically and career-wise, and good lord it’s a fascinating one. From Hong Kong to Australia to the UK, weaving in all sorts of awesome entertainment job nuggets all the way as well as brewing an interesting race identity within himself, making friends with some greats along the path and ultimately finding himself in a wonderful spot in the media landscape. Oh and his parents were celebrity hairdressers in Hong Kong as well. Too much to synopsise here of course so just listen to the episode, it’s a genuine goodie.
