The 31st Cork French Film Festival gets underway on Wednesday, March 4th, with the opening film \"Proxima\"starring Eva Green as a female astronaut who must leave her young daughter behind as she sets out on a year's mission. There follows 4 more days and nights of superb cinema screenings, galas, documentaries, family specials and outstanding drama. Josselin Le Gall (French Consul in Cork) and Valerie David-McGonnell, both directors of the Alliance FRrancaise in Cork and members of the CFFFBoard, came in to studio to spread the word.
