He's also an active supporter at the protests for the release of the refugees from the Kangaroo Point Hotel where over 100 detainees are being held (some up too as long as 8 years) Originally his new Doom band SLUGG planned on debuting their live set at one of the protests but was unfortunately canceled but just recently got the chance to play at Blute's Bar and I totally forgot how bloody loud sludgey doom can be.
