I talked with three Australian travellers about their favourite souvenirs and how important they are as a means for remembering travel experiences.</p>\r\n<p>Sarah Ridout lived abroad in France, England and Ireland for over a decade before returning to Australia, and she collected a very smart kind of souvenir so that she’s constantly reminded of those experiences. Following Sarah, I chat with Julie Jones who explained that the kinds of souvenirs she and her family bring home from a trip have changed over the years. Holly Galbraith then chats with me about her aim to have ethically sourced souvenirs from her travels.</p>\r\n<p>Links:</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Sarah Ridout’s website - <a href=\"http://www.sarahridout.com.au\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.sarahridout.com.au</a></li>\r\n<li>Sarah’s novel Le Chateau - hard copy (in Australia) - <a href=\"http://www.booktopia.com.au/le-chateau-sarah-ridout/prod9781760404413.html\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.booktopia.com.au/le-chateau-sarah-ridout/prod9781760404413.html</a> </li>\r\n<li>Le Chateau in Kindle version - <a href=\"http://amzn.to/2kN8NHF\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">http://amzn.to/2kN8NHF</a></li>\r\n<li>Julie’s blog Have Wheelchair Will Travel - <a href=\"http://havewheelchairwilltravel.net/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">http://havewheelchairwilltravel.net</a></li>\r\n<li>Have Wheelchair Will Travel Facebook community - <a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/HaveWheelchairWillTravel/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.facebook.com/HaveWheelchairWillTravel/</a></li>\r\n<li>Holly Galbraith’s website - <a href=\"http://hollyg.com.au/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">http://hollyg.com.au/</a></li>\r\n<li>Holly’s Tourism Upgrade podcast - <a href=\"https://itunes.apple.com/au/podcast/tourism-upgrade-with-hollyg/id1132030357?mt=2\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">https://itunes.apple.com/au/podcast/tourism-upgrade-with-hollyg/id1132030357?mt=2</a></li>\r\n<li>Show notes: <a href=\"http://notaballerina.com/42\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">https://notaballerina.com/42</a></li>\r\n<li>Join our Facebook group <a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/groups/thoughtfultravellers\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.facebook.com/groups/thoughtfultravellers</a></li>\r\n<li>Tweet me @amandakendle</li>\r\n<li>Hashtag #thoughtfultravelpod</li>\r\n<li>Follow me on Facebook at <a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/NotABallerina\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.facebook.com/NotABallerina</a>   </li>\r\n</ul>","author_name":"Amanda Kendle"}
