Strange things are afoot in Truth & Movies this week, as we settle in for Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson's terrifying horror triptych, Ghost Stories, starring Martin Freeman and Paul Whitehouse. Similarly disconcerting – but for entirely different reasons – is Todd Haynes' time-skipping melodrama Wonderstruck. Plus there are quick looks at Thoroughbreds and A Quiet Place. And there's still more mystery in Film Club, in which Nicolas Roeg's haunting exploration of grief, Don't Look Now, gets a welcome reappraisal.
