He also works as a freelance researcher on climate change adaptation, sustainable urban development, and autism spectrum disorder. He is co-publisher of a German magazine for experimental fiction, <em>Die Novelle – Magazine for Experimentalism</em>, and has published fiction and non-fiction in various magazines and anthologies. His German novel <em>Das Maskenhandwerk</em>&nbsp;(<em>The Mask Trade</em>) came out in 2017 (AAVAA Press).
