She has degrees in biology, journalism,&nbsp;and law, and has traveled to&nbsp;Iceland, Israel, Jordan, and Costa Rica, among other places. She now lives with her family in Silver Spring, Maryland. She is the&nbsp;author&nbsp;of four fantasy novels published by HarperCollins:&nbsp;<em>Mistwood, Nightspell,</em>&nbsp;<em>Death Sworn,&nbsp;</em>and&nbsp;<em>Death Marked.</em></p><p>Leah&nbsp;has also published short stories in Fantasy &amp; Science Fiction Magazine, Asimov’s Science Fiction, and Sword &amp; Sorceress, among other places.
