Previously on Christine Lahti in Space: Each year students from Space Surf Academy, travel to the edges of the universe to the ride the waves of the treacherous constellation Gnarlapagus, and Dr Christine Lahti has been assigned to the medical tent where she meets a bookish male nurse named Scott Scanlon. When Scott fails to show up for his next shift, Dr Lahti is concerned that he may have been sucked into Gnarlapagus’s largest nebula, but little does she know he is a double agent for Sham None Dough Arty, with plans to lure her to the nebula and trap her inside for eternity. Pencil gets a toe ring.
